Last Sonogram!

We had our last sonogram on Tuesday. Our baby is now 7 lbs! We set a date with the doctor to induce on June 12th if he doesn't come before then. I really feel like I will go into labor before that date but that is the longest we will go - only 16 days from today! We are very excited of course! James Allen has been keeping a full tank of gas in the Tahoe and we will be putting in the car seat in it in the next couple of days and get it inspected just to make sure it's in there correctly! It's getting very exciting!
In the picture we received from the sonogram, our baby's foot is up against his forehead! I feel so bad for him being so scrunched up in there! Poor little guy! Reese said he must be very flexible - I agree. We have been saying he's going to be our little high-kicker in Tae-Kwon-Do!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers - this pregnancy has been, for the most part, very pleasant. People who see me say I look miserable but I feel pretty great still! Thank you Lord for that!
I am still working and will be until I feel like I can't anymore. I hope to work until the day before! We'll see :-)

Our Puppy Dogs

These are our other members of our family. They are literally our other set of children. Maggie (on the left) is our baby girl. James Allen got her 6 or 7 years ago from one of his best friends that was leaving to Army boot camp. She has been his little girl ever since!

We got Coty (his full name is Buffalo Bill Coty), (on the right) 4 years ago as a puppy. As a 5 month old puppy, he was already taller than Maggie. He is a Golden Doodle and is honestly the sweetest dog you will ever meet! He is so affectionate and wants to love on you constantly!

They just went to the groomer the other day and look so cute in their new bandannas!

Clean Car!

James Allen & Reese did a great job cleaning the Porsche today. It hadn't been washed in about 7 years so it sure needed it! I have the best men in my life!

Car Show

Saturday, Mom & I had our jewelry at the Car Show. With a 40 degree wind chill, it was not much fun in the beginning! In fact, it was quite miserable! But, after lunch it got up to about 60 degrees and made it tolerable. My husband had to bring me several more layers of clothing that morning. The cars were quite awesome and Reese picked out what all he wanted :-) Don't you just love kids!

While I was all bundled up, trying to keep the wind out of my ears and off my neck, a lady that was doing sketches for the American Cancer Society came up to me and said she just had to do a sketch of me all bundled up like that. While I posed for about 10 - 15 minutes, trying not to move, I had to reassure my customers that I wasn't trying to ignore them and explain why I was being so still, looking off into the distance. After I was done, I had a man come up to me and ask if I was a "real lady?" He thought I was a manikin! LOL!

Here are some pictures of our jewelry we had displayed:

Monday's Doctors Appointment

On Monday, we had a doctors appointment. We also had our 3D sonogram which was the most incredible experience! To see his little facial features, toes, fingers, blood flow, heart chambers, etc, was so awesome! We were given word that our baby is just perfect (we already knew that, of course)! But, seriously, his body is working perfectly in every way. What better news could we get!

At 32 weeks, our little boy is already 5 lbs! So, after discussing this with the doctor afterwards, she gave us something to ponder on. We can do an amnio at 37 weeks (June 1st) to see if his lungs are ready then we could go ahead and induce if so. It is now May 1st and so exciting to think that our little one could be here in a month! We don't want to increase risks for him or me if he gets 9 lbs or over, which looks like what he would be at 40 weeks. There is also the possibility of my body naturally going into labor early in response to him getting bigger and bigger. So, we know God will guide us to do exactly what he desires. What a great heavenly Father we have!

Baby Shields Room

Our Baby's room is finished... we are just waiting for our little boy to come into this world to complete it! His name will be in Uppercase Living right above the crib but since we are keeping his name a secret until he's born, we didn't put it up yet.
